First time appliqué!

So, I had an inspired moment...I decided to get the sewing machine out and have a go at appliqué.

They're only simple designs, but this tea towel will look perfect in the beach hut!

It took some getting used to but I am really proud of the results.

Ikea fabrics

Ikea inspired me with bold prints in subtle greys. I would love to use some of this fabric for kitchen blinds, just looking through patterns to decide on the style....watch this space!
